Dear visitor,
Are you looking for some exercise in addition to relaxation? A hike can start right outside the front door, the Rennsteig can be reached in a few minutes by car. The city of Eisenach with its Wartburg is 5 km away, the state capital Erfurt with its beautiful old town can be reached via the A4 motorway in about 30 minutes, or, even more conveniently, in about 30 minutes by train from Schönau station.
The Schönau train station is about a 20-minute walk away. If you arrive by train, we will of course be happy to pick you up from the train station.
There are in the village itself In addition to several supermarkets, there is a baker, a butcher, a pharmacy, a really great mill café in an old cutting mill, a large garden center with a tree nursery and three gas stations.
In Mosbach, another district of Wutha-Farnroda, there is a very nice forest swimming pool.
There are several general practitioners in town for emergencies.

Welcome to beautiful Thuringia. It is also called "the green center of Germany". Our house with the holiday apartment is located in the beautiful Deubach valley, embedded in forests, meadows and fields. Schönau-Deubach is a district of Wutha-Farnroda, right in front of the gates of Eisenach
